Triple H has had neck issues for years. For the WWE legend, it's just been a part of the job.

"At some point in time, in a physical business like ours, you're gonna land on your neck wrong, even if it's just repetitive over the years," says Triple H. "You always have a stiff neck. It's tight and stiff and it's sore and you try to keep your mobility up and even though I train it it's always been a factor. The best my neck has felt in years is shortly after we started using Iron Neck."

As a strength and conditioning coach who grew up playing football, Joe DeFranco understands the importance of neck strength. He had always programmed neck flexion and extension with a weight harness but it wasn't until early 2017 when he began incorporating Iron Neck into Triple H's training that they saw significant improvements.

"The best my neck has felt in years is shortly after we started using Iron Neck."

After the first few weeks using it, driving back from his workouts, Triple H says, "I'd think, 'man, I can't wait to get home and put that Iron Neck thing on and work it out' and immediately feel better, the range of motion, the loosening up of the muscles. I'm telling you it made a huge difference for me."

The difference was one that didn't go unnoticed by Triple H's chiropractor.

"The pain in my shoulder and neck area is something that Durlan Castro, my A.R.T. guy and Chiro, is working on every week. He's constantly trying to get my neck to calm down on that one side," Triple H explains. "As soon as we started using the Iron Neck, he was like 'this thing is really calming down.' All of a sudden it's made a big difference. He sees that difference. He can feel it, he can see how the nerve is responding."

"Usually you associate getting a pump with not being able to move temporarily but I actually got this huge pump that felt like it started from the inside out, like every little muscle around my spine, but I was able to move better."

A Focus on Long Term Improvements

Prior to using the Iron Neck, DeFranco had been living with pain in the left side of his neck as well that prevented him from being able to turn to the left.

"When Mike [Jolly] came here he put me through the ringer with the Iron Neck and I couldn't believe my range of motion," explains DeFranco. "It's crazy because usually you associate getting a pump with not being able to move temporarily but I actually got this huge pump that felt like it started from the inside out, like every little muscle around my spine, but I was able to move better, and that pain for the first time in 2 years was gone.”

"I'd think, 'man, I can't wait to get home and put that Iron Neck thing on and work it out' and immediately feel better."

While DeFranco and Triple H both noticed immediate improvements in mobility and neck pain, their focus is more on long term improvements.

"I'm really looking forward to being able to put in a 3 or a 6 month run with this thing of doing it 3-4 times a week," says Triple H.

Over the past year and a half, DeFranco has had Triple H (and Stephanie McMahon) training with Iron Neck 2-3 times a week. Listen to their 6 minute discussion about Iron Neck below.
